Virtual Comminity Design Update
The latest design for the virtual community project that I'm doing. I've tried to make the design appeal more to the younger crowd.
"Le cordonier est le plus mal chaussé" would be a great analogy of me and my web presence right now.

Thanks :) I used Macromedia Fireworks mainly, and a little of Macromedia Freehand and Adobe Photoshop.

:p i love that design :D
PS: You should use antialiasing for the corners

I don't antialias the corners on the container boxes (gifs with transparency) because I want to be able to change the background without having to export different versions of the corners for each different background.

hmm... why not use script to switch background together with coners?

Well, it would be adding uneeded complexity to solve a simple problem. I don't think the aliasing is such a big deal in this case.

:P lol it's quite easy!! If the site is coded in php smarty, there would be no difficulty to use image swap.

Sure, but still, it's unneeded complexity for what it achieves. I am a big fan of separating business process from design issues.
